The State Government on Friday asked the district Collectors to submit a detailed list of damage of houses and properties in the recent floods by August 5.
In a letter to the Collectors of the affected districts, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) PK Mohapatra asked them to assess the extent of damage of crops along with the paddy fields that have been covered with sands by the floodwater.
In view of death of nine persons who died in the floods, instructions have also been given to the concerned district administrations to pay ex-gratia of `1.5 lakh to each family of the deceased at the earliest, the letter stated.
