The flood-affected districts’ Collectors have been asked to submit damage assessment reports by Monday, said Development Commissioner R Balakrishnan after chairing a meeting here on Saturday.
“The concerned district Collectors have been asked to submit damage assessment report soon. They have been to assess damages on the basis of the rules laid down by the Government of India,” he said.
He said the report would include assessment of damage to the roads, schools and other buildings and all types of damages caused by the flood.
Collectors would also submit visuals and documents relating to the damages.
Notably, four districts, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Malkangiri witnessed floods due to swelling of rivers like Nagavali, Kalyani and Hati recently.
