Skill test for DL and computerised LL tests in the State which were suspended due to the Covid-19 outbreak, would now resume. The concerned Under Secretary KC Muduli has written a letter in this regard to the Transport Commissioner.
“While conducting the above activity, safety protocols such as maintaining physical distancing, use of face mask, no spitting at public place etc.
are to be maintained and guidelines issued by the H&FW Department for work place need to be followed,” the official said.The Transport Commissioner has been authorised to issue necessary operational guidelines for conduct of DL/LL tests and decide the number of persons to be called for such tests in a day in a staggered way keeping in view the physical distancing norms.
Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera said the tests would commence within two to three days.
Only 20 persons would be allowed to undergo the tests per day amid adherence to Covid-19 guidelines.
