The annual Ijtema of Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Kendrapada districts was held in the premises of Kusumbi Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque of Sunguda village near Salepur.
Maulana Rafiq Ahmed Beg, representative of National Majlis Ansarullah, officiated at the annual Ijtema. Maulbi Abdul Jalil recited Urdu Najm while Sheikh Soleman recited the Holy Quran. Maulana Haleem Ahmad Khan joined as the main speaker and expressed his opinion about good education of children.

Recitation of the Holy Quran, Urdu and Odia Najm, quiz and speech competitions and games were conducted. The contestants were awarded by the chief guest and the guest of honour. Hundreds of Ansar members from Chodwar, Cuttack, Sunguda, Sirlo Navagram, Kotpalla, Pankal, Tigiria, Kardapalli, Muktadeipur, Arakhpatna, Talbarkot, Gundichapada, Dhenkanal Sadar and Kendrapada town participated.
