The Srimad Bhagabat Parayan Committee of Niladrivihar-Sailashree Vihar is organising a Prabachan (discourse) programme on Jagannath Kathamruta for the local residents since December 16.
Noted Prabachak Prof Santosh Sahoo inaugurated the programme and spoke on the importance of Jagannath Katha. Joining the inaugural event, Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association (NYCA) president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi expressed his concern about the lack of spiritual feelings among the younger generation and urged the participants to bring them to the mainstream through such programme.
Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, KIIT and KISS founder Achyuta Samanta are scheduled to join the valedictory event on Tuesday. Committee members Sukesh Mohanty, Suresh Dash, Sishir Moharana, Pramod Parida, Kumar Barik and Suresh Nayak monitoring the programme.
