A trainee deaf and dumb girl of the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre at Pokhariput under Khandagiri police station limits lodged a complaint with the Mahila Police on Saturday that she was raped by an instructor of the centre on August 6 last.
The physically challenged girl is a resident of Indapahi village near Baripada in Mayaurbhanj dist and was undergoing training in the centre. She said she was sick on August 6. Instructor of the Radio and TV department Kshirod Kumar Sribastav assured her to take her to a doctor on the day but instead took her to his house and raped her thrice, the girl alleged.
