The World Health Day was celebrated on behalf of the Indo-Vietnam Medical Board at the Krushak Niwas here in the OUAT campus on April 7.
OUAT CAET and Extension Education Dean Dr Md Khalid Khan was present as the chief guest and College of Agriculture Dean Dr lM Gadanaik as guest of honour.
Attending as speaker, Satyanarayan Sahoo presented the myth busting facts on ‘Diabetes Cure in 72 Hours’. “Even after 69 years of independence, India is still deeply trapped in vicious cycle of western medicines,” Sahoo said.
A book ‘last Days of Diabetes’ written by Dr Biswaroop Ray Chawdhury was released on the occasion.
A training programme of curing diabetes in 72 hours was also organised and few cured patients presented their cases live in the seminar.
