Diabetes curable through yoga: Brahma Kumaris

The Brahma Kumaris of Sambalpur have taken up a novel step to beat the killer diabetes. They want to do it with no medicines. It may be heard to believe, but is true.

“Diabetes could be prevented by Rajayoga,” said Brahma Kumari Parvati in a media conference here. Diet control, Asana and Pranayam could help in a big way prevent the disease, she claimed.

To create awareness among people to beat the disease without medicine, a three- day camp ‘Goodbye Diabetes’ would be organised at Sambalpur from December 19 to 21 where Dr Srimanta Kumar Sahu, a renowned diabetelogist of the country based at the Global Hospital and Research Foundation, Mount Abu, would show the way.

Following the direction shown by Dr Sahu, a good number of diabetes affected people have been immensely benefited earlier and people of Sambalpur and western Odisha can now avail the same, she said.  “A way of life through Rajayoga not only helps cure the disease but also makes one experience a divine life,” sister Parvati said.

She further appealed the people to take the advantage of the camp as it is totally free of cost and aims at showing a new way of leading a healthy and pious life. Renowned physicians of the town Dr Diptibala Patnaik and Dr Narayani Panda also shared their views on the camp. They further informed that the Dr Sahu would also have a special session for the doctors of the region, particularly on diabetes and its spiritual cure.
