Timber businessman laxman Sarkar of Kunjakant was compelled to pay Rs14,000 towards salary to truck driver Pramod Behera in presence of AlO Narendra Jaipai after intervention of farmer leader Debashisha Hota.
Notably, Sarkar of Kunjakant had engaged truck driver Behera to transport his materials to Mumbai in Maharastra. Kathagada Juanga Sahi inhabitant Behera alleged that Sarkar did not pay some amount of his salary.
Hence he registered one complaint before the DlO Pradip Mohanty in this connection. But, not caring the complaint, Sarkar lodged an FIR at Dhenkanal Town Thana against Behera for misbehavior.
Hota thanked DlO Mohanty, AlO Jaipai and Sarkar for amicable settlement of the issue.
