The e-District Mission Mode Project (MMP) was rolled out in the State on Saturday last in 28 districts to generate certificates on six services like issuance of income, residence, caste, SEBC, OBC, legal heir, solvency certificates and issue of certified copy of RoR. Five tehsils of Dhenkanal including Bhuban, Dhenkanal Sadar, Kamakhyanagar, Odapada and Hindol have been included in the project on January 25. The rest three tehsils of Kankadahad, Gondia and Parjang are delivering online certificates since December 16 last.
On the basis of the implementation of the project, the district was awarded as the best one for overall team effort by the Information Technology Minister and Bhubaneswar Commissioner-Cum-Secretary to IT. The district has generated more than 2,700 certificates through e-District MMP which is the highest in each service throughout the State. The Kamakhyanagar tehsildar was awarded as the best tehsildar for generating more than 750 certificates through e-District MMP in all the categories which is also the highest among all the tehsils throughout the State.
