The Odisha Janaadhikar Parishad said it would begin a three-day dharna in front of Parliament from December 16 demanding CBI investigation into the mining scam and land scam of Odisha.
“We will demand CBI prove in the Odisha mining scam on the basis of Shah Commission reports and in the land scam committed by political leaders, bureaucrats and various industrial houses. Over a thousand people would join in the Parliament Abhiyan and dharna,” said Parishad president Bijaya Parida, general secretary Jyoti Ranjan Mohapatra, Pradeep Pradhan, Arun Jena, Ashok Mallick and Pratap Sahu in a statement.Informing that agitators would board the Odisha Samparka Kranti Express on Sunday, they urged upon common people to join the abhiyan in large numbers.
