Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhaan, accompanied by BJP party leaders visited the Dhenkanal lakshmipuja last week.
Pradhan, who had come to attend the golden jubilee celebration of the Ratna Bazaar Puja Mandap, hopped through several Puja Mandaps from the bus-stand to Bazi Chouk. Several Puja Committees felicitated him during his visit.
Earlier, the Minister had an elaborate discussion with party workers regarding present position of the BJP in the district. He also visited the RSS office in the town.
Former Rajya Sabha member Rudra Narayan Pany, former Sadar MlA Krushna Chandra Patra, BJP district president Naresh Chandra Mohapatra, Dhenkanal Municipality ex-Chairman Sunil Sharma and former district BJP president Deepak Prasad Pattnaik, among others, participated in the Minister’s programmes.
