Dharmendra to campaign in Dhamnagar from today

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan would campaign on October 28 and 29 for the Dhamngar Assembly by-election for BJP candidate Suryavanshi Suraj and seek support of the locals for the party, said the BJP on Thursday.

BJP State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan said Union Minister Bisheshwar Tudu, party national spokesperson Sambit Patra, MP Jual Oram and other senior leaders would also campaign for the by-election.

Harichandan alleged that the Jajpur BJD leaders, who shifted the proposed medical college from Bhadrak to Jajpur, are in charge of the by-poll for the ruling party. These BJD leaders who had strengthened the embankments in Jajpur during the floods and pushed Bhadrak district into brink of danger would be given a befitting reply by the people.

He further said the BJD thought that people had forgotten about Minister Pramilla Mallick’s involvement in the dal scam. The Chief Minister had then sacked Mallick from his Cabinet, but now he has given her charge of the BJD campaigning in Dhamnagar. The people are aware of the corruption of the BJD.
