Even though the BJD is using money and official machinery to win the Dhamnagar Assembly by-election, people’s power would be the means for the BJP’s victory, said Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Bhadrak on Friday.
Pradhan, who held discussions with BJP functionaries, said the people of Dhamnagar are with the BJP. In the last elections, the BJD lost the elections because of its arrogance. Due to arbitrary rule, there is a rebellion in the ruling party.
The news of involvement of influential ruling party leaders in the Archana Nag honey-trap case in Bhubaneswar and Gop Zilla Parishad Member Dharmendra Sahu death case has created hostility towards the BJD among the women folk. The people would bless Bishnu Sethi’s son Suryavanshi Suraj and ensure his victory, said Pradhan.
