Putting speculations at rest, the Congress on Monday named Dharanidhar Nayak as its candidate for the Kendrapada lok Sabha constituency.
There were speculations that party’s campaign committee chief and Union Minister Srikant Jena was seeking to fight from the seat though he has already been named for the Baleswar lok Sabha seat.
With Nayak, the Congress has now named the candidates for all 21 lok Sabha seats in Odisha. But it yet to name its candidates for 25 Assembly seats in the State. The final list is likely to be announced on Tuesday, party sources said.
