Due to fire incident at the Jharia Coal Field, the Railway Board has, on the advice of the Ministry of Coal, decided to stop the operation of goods and passenger traffic on Dhanbad-Chandrapura Railway line from June 15 (Thursday).
The Board has diverted seven trains and cancelled 13 Mail express and six passenger trains keeping the passengers’ safety in view. Under the jurisdiction of the East Coast Railway, the Dhanbad-Alleppey-Dhanbad Express was diverted via Dhanbad-Gomoh-Chandrapur instead of Dhanbad-Katrasgarh-Chandrapura from Alleppey from Tuesday and would be diverted from Dhanbad from Thursday.
