In a midnight operation, a Dhamra Port team rescued nine missing fishermen of Chudamani village from the sea in the wee hours of Saturday.
The fishermen had gone missing after the engine of their boat ‘Maa Sarbamangala’ developed a snag in the deep sea. After getting information, the pot’s team immediately went with the help of a tugboat named ‘Baitarani’ and searched for them.
After two hours of search, the team could locate the Maa Sarbamanagla boat and rescued the fishermen.
later, the fishermen were handed over to the Chudamani police.
