Amid the demand for removal of Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo in connection with the Pari murder case, Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay on Thursday took action against two police officials in Nayagarh district.
The DGP suspended Inspector RR Sahoo, who was working as IIC of the Nayagarh Sadar police station.
Besides, Nayagarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Niranjan Padhi was transferred as the Kandhamal DSP.Notably, the BJP has announced that Padyatras would be organised in all 147 Assembly constituencies demanding justice for Pari and her parents.
