Basing on allegations of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Ghumusar (South), Bhanjanagar, Ganjam district, Bijoy Ketan Acharya, the Vigilance raided multiple locations on Friday and traced his assets of Rs 3.48 crore.
His triple storied building at Sikhara Chandi Nagar, Patia, Bhubaneswar,triple storied building at Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar, building at native place Andarapur, Kalyannagar, Cuttack, residential Government quarter at Bhanjanagar and office chamber were simultaneously searched. His assets include several buildings in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, flat, plots of land, household articles, vehicles, jewelleries and bank deposits.
Besides, two lockers, one at Canara Bank, Patia, Bhubaneswar and another at State Bank of India, Patia, were yet to be opened.
