A woman, Tapaswini Pradhan, who had filed a complaint against her husband at the Dhauli police station for deserting her, is leading a life of penury and still waiting for justice.
Sources said Tapaswini had a love marriage with one Pitambar Yadav and was residing at Nuagaon village under the Dhauli police.
Based on her complaint on August 24, 2018, the Dhauli police sent Tapaswini and her baby to Madhyam in Bhubaneswar for counselling. She requested the Madhyam authorities to issue a notice to her husband for personal appearance and counselling. However, her husband is yet to turn up before the Madhyam authorities, informed her lawyer Kabiraj Sahoo.
Meanwhile, Tapaswini and her baby are facing various problems in getting accommodation, food and medicine. She has pleaded with the authorities to provide justice to her immediately.
