Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surgical strike against black money, corruption and counterfeit currency is going to put India in a big way in the ethical world of political life, said Freethought Party of India (FPI) general secretary B Ramchandra CST Voltaire in a Press release on Thursday.
The FPI congratulated PM Modi for the bold step and hoped that the demonetisation of currency notes of `500 and `500 1000 would be executed with all the determination that he and his Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and the RBI authorities are capable of projecting throughout India.
The FPI is quite certain that the demonetisation of high currency notes would cripple both the internal and external terrorists. Cross-border terrorism is going to be hit in a big way, Voltaire added.
All political parties and all other social organisations should come forward to stand by the Prime Minister to make Indian public life clean and corruption-free, he said.
