The Paradip Dumper Owners’ Association has been harassing a widowed wife of a member and not allowing her membership and engagement of her dumper for last three years. The association is violating an Orissa High Court order and also an order of the PPT.

The hapless widow Tilottama Das alleged this at a Press conference here and sought justice for her and her family. She demanded membership of the association nd engagement of her vehicle in the port, besides participation in the election of the association’s office bearers on April 29.

Tilottama, wife of late BN Das, told that her husband was a member of the PDOA and had a dumper. But after his death, the association did not allow her to be a member in the association. Then she prayed to the Kujang Court and later, the Orissa High Court for justice and even though there is instruction from the court to allow her avail PDOA membership, it was denied to her.

She said after the death of his husband, her dumper was removed from the association and her inclusion as member of the association was also objected to and she was debarred to cast her vote in the 2014 association election.
