Eminent linguist Padmashri Dr Debi Prasanna Pattanaik will be rewarded with the Ruchi Bharat Gaurav Samman at the Ruchi Pratibha Samaroh on behalf of the Ruchi Pratibha Foundation in the premise of the KIIT University here on August 30.
At a Press meet here on Sunday, foundation chairman Sarat Kumar Sahoo declared that besides Pattanaik, several other intellectuals and students excelling in the matric examination this year would be felicitated at the function.
Eminent sculptor Rabi Narayan Rath would be presented the Ruchi Odisha Gaurav Samman while the Ruchi Bidyasagar Samman would go to State IAS topper Madhusmita Sahoo, Ruchi Barbati Krida Samman to Asian medal winner athlete Duti Chand and Ruchi Sisu Pratibha Samman to Indian Idol Junior finalist Aryan Dash.
Jugal Kishore Rana of Bargarh district and Banita Hota of Ganjam, who have secured remarkable success in the matric examination would be felicitated with the Ruchi Pratibha Samman along with cash prize of Rs 10,000 each.
Governor SC Jamir, KIIT founder Achyuta Samanta, former High Court Judge Arun Kumar Parichha and Axis Bank senior vice-president Debarchan Mishra would attend the programme.
