The District Congress Committee here felicitated newly-appointed DCC president and working presidents on Sunday during a meeting held here for strengthening Congress in Sundargarh.
Benu Madhav Tirpathi, the new president, presided over the meeting on Sunday where presidents and workers of 17 blocks and seven Town Congress Committee members were present.
Pradesh Congress Committee working president Naba Kishore Das was chief guest on the occasion. Sundargarh Sadar MlA Jogesh Singh, Talsara MlA Prafulla Majhi, former MlAs Janardan Dehury, Remish Kerketa and Gregory Minz were present.
Das also advised the Congress leaders and workers present there to work for people’s welfare to strengthen the Congress.
