To promote and develop values of secularism, nationalism, communal harmony and national integration for the constructive and larger density of India, cultural organisation Daya Jyoti is organising Basantoutsava-2016 at Balashramas, residential schools, Ranga Manchas and schools of Puri and Puri Sadar.
Competition on various events like Bohu Chori, music chair, painting, fancy dress, poetry, songs, Odishi performances, Dandia Nurtya and drama were held between school children and various individual and cultural groups.
Basanta Pallavi, Dolase Dola Gobindnga Rathesu Bamana Drusta, Mangalacharana Ganesha Vandana, Rasa lela, Nrusingha Avatar and Hanuman Nrutya enthralled the audience.
Artists Bhimasen Rout, Rupali Rout, Ratnakar Sahoo, Biswavusana Rout, Harihar Dalie, Dinabandhu Behera, Rajalaxmi Jena and Debasmita Barala performed in the programme.
