Excise and Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department (SSEPD) officials of Ganjam district jointly observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking here on Tuesday.
The meeting presided over by Sub-Collector Siddhartha Sankar Swain was attended by MlA and District Planning Committee Chairman Dr Ramesh Chandra Chaupatnaik as chief guest. Chyaupatnaik called upon youths should to make efforts for a drugs-free society.
Among others, Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) Deputy Mayor Jyotshna Nayak, Brahmapur Development Authority (BDA) Commissioner Chairman Subash Chandra Maharana, Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Dr Sanatan Mishra, ADMO Dr Himanshu Bala Patnaik, Tehsildar Ranjit Kumar Parida, Superintendent of Excise, Ganjam Rajendra Bhotra and district Social Security Officer Balaram Sethi were present.
