The BJP on Saturday alleged that Minister Sanjay Dasburam has owned 12 big companies and amassed properties worth crores of rupees in just 13 years since 2003.
“Dasburma started riding a moped in 2013. He had bought this with a loan of Rs 13,000. But in these 13 years, he has owned 12 big companies and become a man of crores. He should divulge how he became owner of properties worth crores of rupees,” party State vice-president Sameer Mohanty told reporters here.
He also showed RTO documents against the moped bike Dasburma had bought in 2003.
He also named 12 companies that he claimed to be owned by Dasburma. They are Maa Rajlaxmi Granites Private ltd, SJPD Hotel Pvt ltd, NSD Real Infra Projects Pvt ltd, Team Media and Hospitality Pvt ltd, Team Media Pvt ltd, Odia daily ‘Sarvasadharan’, montly magazine”Shishir’ Neelachal Mining Pvt ltd, Neelachal Builders Pvt ltd and Naina Mining ltd.
Mohanty too stated that Dasburma was managing director of the Team Media Pvt ltd in 2009 and later changed the company name to Team Media and Hospitality Pvt ltd.
He said all the companies have been registered with the address of Dasburma’s residence and business houses, Plot No l 3/2, labour Colony, Kharvel Nagar, HIG 2/318, Kolathia and Idco Plot No 7/7, Chandrasekharpur.
