Trade union leader- cum- senior BJD leader Santosh Kumar Pattanaik thanked Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik for nominating Jagatsinghpur district BJD president Bishnu Charan Das for Rajya Sabha Member.
Pattanaik said Das will work for the welfare of State and his representation in Parliament would lead to rapid development of Jagatsinghpur district.
Several organisations such as Easter India Oil Refinery Workers Union, Easter India Oil Refinery Contract labour Cooperative Society, Jagatsinghpur District Truck Owner Association, Baba Biaswanath Dumper Owner Association, Paradip Port Banika Sangha, Beer Factory Employees Union, Paradip Port land loser and Farmers Association, Kujang Anchal and Fishermen Federation also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the favour to Das. Among others, Manindra Guru, Padmalochan Dash, Akshya Kumar Swain and Ullash Behera also hailed Patnaik’s decision.
