Dara Sena chief Mukesh innocent, says his son

Dara Sena national president Mukesh Jain, who is lodged in the Baleswar jail  under judicial custody following his arrest by police on July 8, is an innocent man and is being trapped as part of a large political conspiracy, claimed his son Ajay Jain on Monday.

Ajay, who was here along with his advocate Dr AP Singh, maintained that Mukesh had never made any derogatory remarks against the Supreme Court or its justices regarding the verdict on holding of the Puri Car Festival, which was halted in the court’s initial order. His father’s Facebook account was hacked by some miscreants and postings were made without his knowledge, Ajay said.

“My father has deep respect and strong faith in the judiciary. He had approached the apex court and other top offices of India including MHA with a petition for holding the Car Festival to preserve the hundreds of years of tradition. His account was hacked and he was entangled by posting of distasteful comments. A high-level free and fair probe should be made in this case and the culprits should be brought to book,” said Ajay,

“My father is a graduate from IIT Roorkee in 1984. He is educated and sensible. He can never post such remarks in his wildest dreams,” he said.

He added that he would approach higher court for bail of his father after rejection in lower courts.
