Dr Bamadev Routray, younger brother of senior BJD leader and Minister Dr Damodar Rout, joined the BJP in the presence of BJP State president KV Singh Deo, newly elected Sundargarh MP Jual Oram, senior leaders Biswabhusan Harichandan, Samir Mohanty and Sajjan Sharma and a host of other leaders and workers at the party headquarters here.Dr Routray, who retired from State Government service recently, said he chose to join the BJP as he felt the party is capable to solve the problems of the State. He explained that he joined politics with a mission to serve people after retirement from service and not just to enjoy power.
