A lorry driver was found brutally murdered in front of a dairy farm here at Jagatpur, about 15 km from here, on Thursday morning, sending shock waves in the locality and putting a big question mark on the law and order situation of the city.
Police said Jalandhar Mallick (25) was found dead in a pool of blood in front of the Kamadhenu Dairy Farm. Jalandhar had come along with one Papu Jena from Bhadrak in a vehicle to pick up dairy products from the farm.
Registering a case, the Jagatpur police are investigating into the incident and have launched a massive manhunt to nab Papu, who has been absconding.
