Acting on a tipoff, police busted two dacoity gangs in the Jagatsinghpur and Balikuda areas and arrested 10 dacoits on Thursday night.
The police also seized crude bombs, a few country-made lethal weapons and iron rods from their possessions.
A police patrolling team while on its way to Taradapada, four km from here, noticed five dacoits at a deserted location. Seeing the cops, the dacoits started fleeing away from the spot but the police overpowered them.
