Senior Technical Consultant, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Joda Block, Keonjhar, Khsetrabasi Mahanta was on Tuesday arrested and forwarded to court in a disproportionate assets case. The court remanded him to judicial custody till August 25. Notably, the Vigilance Baleswar Division on Monday raided assets of Mahanta and traced his properties including a double storeyed building, a plot of land at Pabitradiha Kamargadia, Keonjhar, two buses, three four wheelers.
