Dhenkanal MP Mahesh Sahu has raised the issue of delay in progress of NHAI road work in his constituency.
Participating ina discussion in the Lower House, Sahu said that the four-laning works of NHs-149 and 49 are moving very slow putting the road users and common people in utter difficulties. The minor periodical maintenance work has not been done properly by the concerned authority as a result of which the roads are in horrible conditions. To add to the woes, the contractor does not execute the work properly, alleged Sahu.
Similarly, Sahu said the NH-42 road from Angul to Dhenkanal is also under construction due to its four-laning works. But the work here too is sluggish, said Sahu
