Dharmasala BJD MlA Pranab Balabantray appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for his alleged business links with the notorious gangster Dhalasamant brothers here on Monday for questioning ED officials.
Balbantray had been summoned by the ED to appear as his firm Balbantray Transport had some suspicious business dealings with the D brothers from 2005 t0 2010.
He was asked to bring with him the ledgers and the audit reports of his firm for the aforesaid period for scrutiny by the investigating agency. Balbantray was accompanied by his chartered accountant.
Earlier, Balbantray had been grilled by the CBI in connection with the Artha Tatwa chit fund case.
