Dinesh Das, a young drama artist from Dhenkanal, was conferred with the best director award at the recently-concluded National Science Drama Festival in New Delhi.
He performed a play titled ‘Hope: A Humble Submission’ with his team from the Panchayat Raj High School, Kamakhyanagar in the festival held from January 10 to12 where 10 selected States from five zones participated.
Das received the certificate and cash award from National School of Drama Chairman Dr Amal Allana and Three Idiots’ fame writer Atul Tiwari. His play envisaged with humble submission to protect the mother earth from destroying forest, air pollution and water contamination.
