Taking disciplinary action, the State Government on Tuesday suspended Cuttack Deputy Collector (Revenue) and former Begunia Tehsildar Bibekananda Parida with immediate effect.
An order issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department stated that during the period of suspension, the headquarters of Parida would be at the office of the Cuttack Sub-Collector and he would not leave the headquarters without obtaining a prior permission of the Sub-Collector. He is entitles to get payment of subsistence allowance in accordance with rules, the order added.
