Baibhav Choudhury from Cuttack was felicitated as the best driver in the Mountain Rally of Chamba-2022 as he stood second in all-India level.
The Chamba Mountain Rally in Himachal Pradesh is an annual mountaineer event that brings together drivers from national and international level to ride in difficult sloppy mountain roads with height of 15,000 feet from the sea level.
This time, it was difficult for drivers to drive cars as the temperature was minus 18 degree centigrade. Ice balls were everywhere and the drivers were not introduced to the roads. There was uncertainty over the temperature conditions.
With all these unfavorable conditions Baibhav won the race with the help of navigator, route guide book and computerized navigation route guide and his navigator friend Saswat Swain assisted him to crack the adventurers mountaineering driving game.
Baibhav is son of Cuttack District Congress Committee president Manas Chaudhury.
