The Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division has traced assets worth Rs 1,46, 33, 562 of an engineer of Drainage Division, Gandarpur, Cuttack on Monday.
Basing on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Assistant Executive Engineer Bigyan Kumar Beuria, the vigilance sleuths searched his triple storied building at Jayadev Vihar, double storied building at Adarsa Vihar, Patia, double storied building at Chorda, Jajpur Road, rented house at housing colony, Baramunda, father-in-law’s house at Naya Bazar, Cuttack and office room at Gandarpur.
The assets found include houses, vehicles, ornaments, bank deposits, insurances etc
Beuria started his service career as a graduate engineer in the year 1993 under the Panchayati Raj Department with a consolidated pay and his service was regularized in the year 1999.
He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer in 2014.
