Over a hundred BJD and Congress workers of the Cuttack Sadar area led by noted singer Banbihari Jena, Gaganbihari Jena, Sarada Jena and Pritam Das joined the BJP at a meeting here on Friday.
BJP State president KV Singh Deo and Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan welcomed them with flower bouquets in the presence of party leaders Samir Dey, Dillip Mallick and BJP Krushak Morcha president Hrushikesh Jena. Both Singh Deo and Pradhan said the BJP would be strengthened in the Cuttack Sadar Assembly constituency with joining of these leaders.
