The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Wednesday sealed Khatbin Sahib Bari Lane of Ward no. 15 in the city and declared it as a containment zone following detection of several Covid-19 positive cases in the locality.
The area from Maa Sarala Suppliers, Rover Street to Rover Street Puja Mandap, the Khatbin Sahi police outpost to the house of Dayan Mohammad to the house of Rabindra Sethi, house of Rabindra Sethi to the house of Md Ishak and entry gate of Urdu school till Maa Sarala Suppliers, the backside of Rover Street Puja Mandap to the backside of Modi Ind Paper distributor at Khatbin Sahi police outpost square has been declared as containment zone.
Active contact tracing and surveillance would be carried out in the area. Inhabitants within the containment zone have been advised to stay indoors. The CMC would ensure supply of essential items for all the citizens residing in the zone.
