The Town police of Mayurbhanj district on Thursday raided a house in the Sali Sahi slum under Nayapalli police station here and unearthed materials used for manufacturing fake currency.
The raid was conducted following the arrest and recovery of 32 notes of `500 denomination from a youth Sagen Tudu in Baripada recently.
The police recovered printing paper, cartridges and other machinery used for manufacturing fake notes.
The police are investigating whether the house was used as supply point for fake currency. Sagen is alleged to be the mastermind of a fake currency racket.
