A State-level webinar ‘To end child sexual abuse’ was held here on Monday jointly by State level civil society organisations (CSOs) like NACG, EVAC, World Vision and PECUC.
While about 100 participants from six districts of State participated, PECUC chairman Ranjan Mohanty gave welcome address. Others who deliberated in meeting were OLS CEO Prakash Rath and SPM OSPCR Pritikant Panda.
They spoke about role of civil society organisations, provisions under JJ Board and POCSO Act to protect child against sexual abuse. During open and interactive session, speakers also mentioned latest online sexual harassment of children through various social media platforms and remedies.
