Crude bombs found in Paradip temple latrine

Published on:

About six crude bombs were recovered from a latrine adjacent to the Sidheswar temple at Nimidihi village on the outskirts of Paradip on Saturday.

Temple priest Jatadhari Dash first noticed the bombs kept in two bags when he had gone to use the latrine. Being informed, the lockpada police along with a bomb squad rushed to the spot and detected four crude bombs in one bag and two in another bag and seized them.

Police suspect that four bomb makers, who were arrested from the temple premises with a few bomb-making articles and two bombs two days ago, might have kept the bombs in the latrine before they were nabbed. However, investigation is on into the incident.
