Vigilance officials on Sunday conducted a raid on the houses of Headmaster Ashwini Kumar Bhoi of the VSS Primary School at Brooks Hill in Sambalpur district on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
Bhoi’s two double storied residential houses at Danipali, office room at Dhanupali and parental house at Talab village in Sambalpur district were simultaneously searched by the Vigilance officers.
During the search, movable and immovable assets, including `20,88,215 bank deposits, total amounting to `1,22,80,362, were detected in the name of Bhoi and his family members.
The case is under further verification.
