Vigilance officials on Friday conducted raid on the residential house and office rooms of Binjharpur RW Section Junior Engineer Rasananda Barik in Jajpur district on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
The Vigilance sleuths raided his house at Jaraka in Jajpur, residential paternal house in Dhenkanal, residential rented house in Jajpur Town, father-in-law house, house of his father-in-law's younger brother Manoranjan Behera and office room in Jajpur simultaneously. During the raid, total immovable and movable assets worth Rs 1,26,86,082 were detected in the names of Rasananda Barik and his family members.
