The Vigilance police on Tuesday raided the houses and office of Tihidi block cashier Prabhakar Pradhan on allegation of acquisition
of assets disproportionate
to his known sources of income.
The raids were conducted at Pradhan’s rented residential house, his under construction four storied building at Ranipatna in Baleswar town, his Government quarter at Tihidi in Bhadrak district, office room inside the premises of Tihidi block, paternal house at Baincha village under Sadar PS in Baleswar district and a house of his relative at Nachhipuria village under Baisingha PS in Mayurbhanj district by the sleuths of Vigilance Baleswar Division on the strength of search warrants issued by the Baleswar Vigilance Special Judge
During search, his and his family members’ movable and immovable assets worth Rs 1.03 crore were detected.
