Crorepati BBSR R&B clerk arrested Asit Kumar Nayak, a Senior Clerk at the office of Bhubaneswar RB Division-I, was on Wednesday arrested by Vigilance officials for amassing allegedly disproportionate properties to the tune of Rs 5.23 crore.
The Vigilance police had on Tuesday conducted raids at six places associated with Nayak.
The Vigilance police on Wednesday also arrested Tax Collector of Khordha Municipality Sadasiba Swain on the charge of amassing assets disproportionate to the known sources of his income.
