Vigilance officials on Monday raided the office and residences of Jibadish Patra, a Tracer at the office of the Balangir Special Planning Authority on the charges of acquisition and possession of properties disproportionate to his known sources of income. The total assets of Patra and his family members were calculated as Rs 1.22 crore, including cash of Rs 1.47 lakh.
Besides, Khordha Municipality Assistant Tax Collector Sadasiba Swain also came under Vigilance scanner on the charge of disproportionate assets (DA).
Searches were carried out simultaneously at his houses in Gurujang and other places.The total assets of Swain and his family members were calculated as Rs 56.92 lakh.
