Head Master Pradipta Kumar Dash of the Hanumal High School under lamataput block in Koraput district is accused of having repeatedly slapped the Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC). The headmaster had earlier been ordered for transfer from the Hanumal High School to another school. CRCC Bhagabat Sahu went to the school on a routine visit on Friday. A conflict erupted over the transfer topic, and Pradipta Kumar Dash slapped the CRCC holding him responsible for the transfer.
CRCC Sahu filed a written complaint in this regard to his higher authorities and also filed a report at the Machhkund police station. Police station Officer-in-Charge Pradip Kumar Nayak detained the headmaster and inquired about the incident. However, later, the matter was settled amicably and the headmaster was by the police released on the condition not to repeat such act, sources said.
